Our February Meeting started at 8pm with the usual chat as everyone arrived and greeted each other. Once we had settled down we started with Hannah playing My Bonnie, Joleen and Bay Misbistu Sheyn (she had to spell that for us). Up next was Ann Parker who started with Jack Alan Jive, Woodland Fantasia and Blue Bell Polka. Michael Kristiansen was our next
player, playing Dundee City Police Pipe Band, Boulabogue, Dear Old Donegal and Sweet Maid of Mull. Sara Daly followed Michael, she started with Leaving Of Friday Harbour and Josephines Waltz, and ended with Envikens Waltz and Please Don’t Talk about Me. Colin Ensor followed Sara with Sailing By, More Than You Know, The Godfather, Pigalle, Conquest Of Paradise, Charmaine and Who’s Taking You Home Tonight. After the stage performances we changed format and everyone went to do their own thing around the room. A
small group playing in one corner, others playing solo, swapping tips, helping each other with music or just chatting and drinking tea and coffee.
The night ended at the usual 11pm when they came to lock the place up. David
