Our June Meeting started at 8pm with David Rigby playing My Wild Irish Rose, Que Sera Sera, Good Old Summertime, Daisy, Beautiful Dreamer, The Spinning Wheel, Irish Rover, Mountains Of Mourne, My Bonnie, Highland Cathedral, The Old Rugged Cross and Now Is The Hour. Our next player was Ann Parker who played Snow Waltz, Loveliest Night Of The Year, Beer
Barrel Polka and Frog Chorus. Sara Daly then took to the stage, she started with a favourite of mine The Marino Waltz, then went on to play The Lovers Waltz and El Chocolo. Our next player was Colin Ensor who played Cruising Down The River, Somewhere My Love, The Town I Loved So Well, Crazy, Pigalle, Charmaigne, Sweetheart Of All My Dreams and to finish he ended with Who’s Taking You Home Tonight. After the stage performances we changed format and everyone went to do their own thing around the room. A small group playing in one corner, others playing solo, swapping tips, helping
each other with music or just chatting and drinking tea and coffee for the rest of the night.
The night ended at the usual 11pm when they came to lock the place up.
