On the morning of 14^th March the fire brigade in Castelfidardo receive a call about a fire at the Dino Baffetti Accordion Factory. We understand that the fire destroyed most of the factory, it will take some time to rebuild. Below you can see a news report on the fire as it was happening, photographs inside the factory after the fire and a video tour of the fire taken in a previous year. 

Let’s hope the factory can get back up and running as soon as possible.

Saturday 18^th May sees the return of Knutsford Accordion Day, this is an Accordion workshop for accordionists of all abilities.  Andrew Purkiss is the Musical Director for the day. Music for all playing levels provided in advance. The event day takes place from 10am – 5pm at The Hall at Marthall, Sandlebridge Lane, Marthall, Knutsford, WA16 7SB. The next ONLINE meeting will be 3rd April starting at 8pm, we have an online catch up with local members and others from far and wide. This is held on Zoom.

The night starts at 8pm and will be a chance to chat about accordions, find out what others have been up to, or even play a tune for us.  Please share the link below with any accordion folk who might be interested in joining us. If you want to chat about accordion stuff, listen to others play the accordion, or give us a tune then please join us.
