Our next player was Bernard Belshaw playing The Third Man, How Wonderful to Know, Blaze Away, Ave Maria, Moonlight Serenade, Satin Doll, Spanish Gypsy Dance and Serenade From The Student Price. Our next player was making his debut at the club at
the age of 6, Andrew Batty was reading from his music book while playing accurate renditions of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Row Row Row Your Boat, very well done Andrew. Sara Daly was up next playing The Colours Of Cape Bretton, Lovers Waltz and Emma’s and Jamies Wedding. After the stage performances were over we then moved on to the informal part of the night, with people playing in
various locations and groups around the room, chatting, drinking tea and coffee, swapping stories and tips, and generally having a good time.

Our Next Meeting - Guest Artist Night!
|
We look forward to seeing you all this
Tuesday the 15th April when we have our first guest artist night since before Covid! Walter Perrie and Helen Rich will both be playing as a duet and also doing their own solo spots. Both Walter and Helen have played at the club in the past and both artists are have been firm favourites at the club. The format will be our usual guest artist night format of some local players doing a spot to start the night, before handing the stage over to the guest artists for their first spot of the night. Then we go in to the break and as usual there will be Tea and Coffee and a chance to catch up with everyone. After the break we will start with local players again before leaving the floor open to Walter and Helen to finish the night up to
11pm. Please come along and support Walter and Helen in what promises to be a fantastic night of excellent music. Doors open at 8pm, see you there. David.
