Bugari have announced a new type of Digital Accordion
called Bugari Evo. There are two types of Accordion a Piano Accordion (Haria P41) and Button Accordion (Haria B55). The Brochure description reads “The on-board speakers (two woofers plus two tweeters) are driven by a high-quality amplification system. The wooden cabinet provides an excellent acoustic response and produces a warm, clear sound. The internal batteries provide
8 hours of operation and can be recharged simply by connecting the supplied AC adaptor to the instrument. All required connectors-including MIDI, USB, and audio are conveniently located on the instrument itself. The onboard looper provides the ability to record and overdub accordion performances, which can be used as accompaniments for your improvisations and solos. The WAV player allows you to play along to your favourite music using an optional USB storage device. Accordion performances can be
recorded directly to USB memory as well. Take advantage of a rich selection of traditional accordion sounds from around the world; over 180 orchestral and percussion sounds; plus world-class Virtual Tone Wheel organs. Four powerful multi-effects engines (MFX) are provided to add the finishing touch to the glorious sounds produced by the Accordion, Orchestra 1, Orchestra 2, and Orchestra Chord/Orchestra Free Bass sections respectively. The Natural Air Flow System accurately simulates the bellows
response of an acoustic accordion. It works the same for keys and buttons: when a key is pressed, a lever system lifts a pallet, allowing the air to flow to the hole. The result: perfectly natural movements of the bellows. The digital sounds and the underlying technology are supplied by Roland. BUGARI and Roland have teamed up to satisfy even the most exacting requirements of accordion players. Haria is the perfect combination of Bugari’s enviable acoustic accordion experience with Roland’s
unsurpassed sound generation technology.” The Bugari Evo was on display at the Musikmesse Exhibition in Frankfurt from 7th - 10th April. The Accordion will be available from June 2016 for more information visit www.bugarievo.com

Britain's Got Talent Accordionist |
Saturday 9th April saw the return of Britain’s Got Talent to TV Screens. In it’s 10th year the first episode of the audition stage started with 25 year old Belarusian Accordionist Vitaly Voronko. Vitaly was dressed in a Yellow Lycra superhero outfit with red boots and a red cape. There seemed to be a communication issue when Vitaly started his Audition as the judges repeatedly asked his name with no response
from Vitaly… he then started playing a Disney classic “Under The Sea” from the 1989 film The Little Mermaid, Vitaly also played Michael Jacksons They Don’t Care About Us. The Audience loved Vitaly and gave him a standing ovation. He received two buzzes one from Simon Cowell and the other from Alysia Dixon who later retracted her buzz. Vitaly went on to get 3 Yes’s and is now through to the next round. This is not the first Televised competition Vitaly has appeared on, he has also been on The
Voice Poland, The Voice Russia and has attempted to represent Belarus in the Eurovision song contest once in 2013 and again in 2015. To watch Vitaly’s BGT Audition visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXJrjakXUl0 Audition on The Voice Poland: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibB58vQJ19I Audition on The Voice Russia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S42jhfGqu44 Searching YouTube for “Vitaly Voronko” will bring up many other videos of him playing the
accordion.
PS. Look out for John Romero playing the accordion on Britain’s Got Talent this Saturday 23rd April.
